After bonding, Hollis learned how to  manipulate rock and soil but quickly became bored with it even though he did enjoy sliding from place to place without actually walking. To better his research, Hollis decided to concentrate upon manipulating differing metals learning their individual properties. After sometime at becoming proficient in metal manipulation, he began to recognize the compositions of metals with ease.

Hollis, while friendly, has a tendency to tease people and take things to the extreme. He loves to have fun and is really a kid at heart. This tends to get him into trouble with both others and himself seeing as his self control isn't great. Hollis enjoys it when he can get people to do things for his own amusement which usually involves light hearted business such as jokes and pranks. He tries to not take anything too far as he does deeply care about his collegues. Hollis is extremely intelligent and dedicated to his work and can spend hours upon hours working in the labs. He is a known comfort eater and has a tendency to overeat but his partner has been trying to keep him in check and teach him regulation which hasn't been going well.

History

Hollis moved with his family from Mumbai to Boston soon after he was born and was raised with high expectations. He usually would try to find the easy way out of things and loved to play pranks on other people. He went to Cornell for undergrad studying engineering for a time but he slowly became more interested in demons after reading several papers. He went to MIT for his graduate and doctorates program studying demons and applying their natural processes to engineering to create things such as new medicines and implants. He started working at Facility 38 in upstate New York for DEVIL as a researcher. Several years went by and he was invited to work at Facility 66. He was promoted to head of his department after some time.

His reign over his department didn't last long as the war broke out quickly and in full force. It didn't take him long to consider bonding. He finally decided to once the director, Justus Friedmann, had also made up his mind. The two bonded with their partners together and since then, Hollis and Petra have become an inseparable. They hoped the war would be over quickly. But it wasn't. The war lasted many more years than he and others had anticipated. Hollis along with his partner took to the field commanding and gathering information.

After many long years, the war finally came to an end and the partners stayed within DAMMED continuing to collect research on demon species and human developments.
